If you get a Path/File access error when you first start the program you need to do the following.
Locate the place on your computer where the game is installed. This typically would be C:/Wolverine Studios/DDSCB20xx although if you purchased the game from Steam it will have a different install path typically in C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/DDSCB20xx. In that folder locate a file called gamesettings.dat
Open a second file browsing window to your My Documents folder and locate the Wolverine Studios/DDSCBxx folder there. Copy the gamesettings.dat manually from the installed location to this folder so that inside the Documents/Wolverine Studios/DDSPBxx folder there is now the gamesettings.dat file and a folder called Leagues. Then reopen the game and it will progress.
