What are social types?

Social types are an abbreviation indicating prevalent features of a players view on life and way of conduct.
A social type consists of two words.
Roughly the first word indicates the players' behavior or appearance, and the second word indicates their view on - or goals in relation to - life, the game, family, society and similar.

How are social types generated

Every player has a set of hidden ratings that map different dimensions of behavior, attitudes, views, or goals.
Roughly, these are similar to many of the parameters you can find in most personality tests (a mishmash of Myers-Briggs, DISC, etc).
(game wise, think Dwarf Fortress, although Social Types here are significantly less ambitious than DF).
These along with his personality are summarized into the two words.
Below is a list of the Social Type words, along with their associated characteristics.
Importantly, only the extreme ends of each dimension (ratings) result in characteristics, and a player may have strong tendencies that are overwritten by a stronger tendency. Similarly, a given word does not imply that a player has all the associated characteristics, they occur in different mixtures (sometimes with other characteristics). Sometimes words (or the characteristics listed next to a word) may seem contradictory, but remember there is more than one way to be a given kind of person, and the words are very 'high-level' descriptions.
